Cooking Tips
To extract the arils, cut the pomegranate in half and carefully tap the back of the rind with a wooden spoon over a bowl to loosen the seeds. You can also score the fruit and submerge it in water, then gently pull the arils apart underwater.
Pomegranate arils add a beautiful pop of color and flavor to salads, yogurt, oatmeal, and grain bowls.
They are also delicious in marinades, sauces, and desserts like cakes and tarts.
