Peach Chutney

Once opened, store refrigerated and consume within 30 days. Unopened commercial jars can be stored in a cool, dark pantry for much longer.

Warm it up slightly before serving to enhance the aromas.

Stir in a pinch of red pepper flakes for a touch of heat.

Taste and adjust sweetness or tanginess before chilling.

Cheese boards (especially with sharp cheddar or brie)

Curries and rice dishes

Sandwiches and wraps

Not cooking long enough: the chutney should be thick, not watery.

Over-spicing: start with less spice and add more to taste.

Using underripe peaches: they may not break down well and lack sweetness.
