Store in a dry place to prevent mold. For reuse, clean by scraping off food residue after cooling and store them dry. They can be reused 2-3 times before needing replacement.
Cooking Tips
Always soak cedar planks in water for at least 1 hour (or up to 4 hours) before use to prevent them from catching fire. This also helps create steam for tender, moist results.
Place the soaked plank on a preheated grill. Add your seasoned food directly onto the plank.
Close the grill lid to trap the smoke and heat, allowing the cedar to infuse the food.
For a stronger flavor, you can brine or marinate your food before placing it on the plank.
