Unopened packages can be stored at room temperature. Once opened, keep tightly wrapped in plastic wrap or in an airtight container in the refrigerator to prevent drying out. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
Cooking Tips
If the wrappers become too dry while working, lightly dampen them with a little water.
For fried spring rolls, ensure the oil is hot enough (around 350-375°F or 175-190°C) to prevent the wrappers from absorbing too much oil and becoming soggy.
When making fresh spring rolls, be sure to seal the edges well to prevent the filling from escaping.
Common Mistakes
Not keeping the wrappers moist while assembling: this can cause them to tear easily.
Overfilling the spring rolls: this makes them difficult to seal and prone to bursting during cooking.
Using wrappers that are too old or dried out: these will likely crack or tear.
