Gemelli Pasta

Store dry gemelli in an airtight container in a cool, dark pantry. Once cooked, store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.

Gemelli is excellent with cream sauces, chunky vegetable sauces, or in pasta salads.

Cook gemelli in plenty of salted boiling water until al dente – it should still have a slight bite.

Reserve some of the starchy pasta water before draining; it can help thicken and emulsify your sauce.

Overcooking the pasta, which can make it mushy.

Not salting the pasta water sufficiently, leading to bland pasta.
