Cling Peach

Peaches ripen at room temperature. Once ripe, store them in the refrigerator to slow down the ripening process. For longer storage, peel, pit, slice, and freeze them.

To easily peel peaches, score an X on the bottom of the fruit and briefly blanch it in boiling water, then plunge it into ice water. The skin should slip off easily.

Cling peaches hold their shape well when cooked, making them ideal for pies, cobblers, and tarts.

Their firm texture also makes them a good choice for grilling or roasting.
